Job summary

Aspris Children’s Services is recruiting a Teaching Assistant on a bank basis to join the Education team at Clay Hill School in Southampton. You will provide personalised educational support to a pupil with ASC and complex needs, helping their learning journey.

You will work with staff, parents and professionals to create a nurturing environment and promote development. A Level 2 qualification and classroom experience are required; DBS checks are paid and progression is supported.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting in a classroom setting.
• Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) appropriate to teaching and learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised educational assistance to a specific pupil.
• Build rapport with the pupil and implement strategies to enhance learning.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents and other professionals.
