Job summary

Hanson Recruitment Ltd in Bristol is seeking a dedicated SEN teaching assistant with Autism experience to support pupils with ASD across primary and secondary ages. Role can be part‑time or full‑time and runs during school hours, term-time only.

You will plan differentiated activities, monitor progress, and assist in implementing support plans in collaboration with teachers and SEN specialists.

Qualifications

• Qualified SEN TA with Level 2/3 or equivalent
• Experience supporting pupils with ASD

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver learning activities differentiating for children/young people with ASD
• Support students with ASD to fulfil their academic potential
• Assist pupils with ASD to participate in school life and build confidence
• Keep records and evaluate student progress
• Help develop and implement support plans
• Prepare students for tasks (pre-teaching)
• Supervise practical tasks
• Conduct structured assessments and feedback outcomes
• Assist scholars with physical needs and other identified needs
• Work under professionals to meet specific needs per approved plans
