Job summary

Qualifications

• Nurse with clinical leadership experience.
• Line management and supervision of junior staff.
• Good IT skills and use of health IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership within the autism pathway service and support staff.
• Coordinate clinical activities and undertake assessments as part of the autism assessment pathway.
• Conduct clinical harms reviews, safe care reviews and safe discharges per service guidance.
• Manage day-to-day activity for the autism pathway team, including junior nurses and healthcare workers.
• Liaise with health professionals and partner agencies to ensure optimal care for children and families.
• Assist in developing and delivering clinics, groups, assessments and reviews in alignment with service needs.
