Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a SEND setting in the ST7 area of Stoke-on-Trent. The role supports pupils across different Key Stages, assisting with learning and behaviour management in a structured environment focused on helping pupils engage positively with their education.

The successful Teaching Assistant will be employed on a long-term basis with an immediate start, paid on a PAYE basis, and will work closely with teaching staff to tailor support to individual needs and help pupils engage

Qualifications

Experience working with children or young people with SEND.
Experience supporting pupils with Autism / ASD and SEMH needs.
Experience working across different Key Stages.
Strong behaviour management skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
A resilient, patient and adaptable approach.

Responsibilities

Support pupils across different Key Stages and assist with learning and behaviour management.
Work closely with teaching staff to provide consistent support tailored to individual needs.
Long-term placement with immediate start and PAYE payroll processing.
