Job summary

TeacherActive is hiring a SEND Teaching Assistant to support children and young people with additional needs in a Stoke-on-Trent school. You will work across age groups, promoting engagement, independence and positive learning outcomes under guidance from teaching staff.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
• Experience working with pupils with a range of additional needs
• A positive, patient and proactive approach to supporting learning
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• A willingness to get stuck in and adapt to the needs of the school

Responsibilities
