Leicestershire County Council is recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants to join the Specialist Teaching Service's Learning, Communication and Autism Team in Leicester. The role focuses on supporting children and young people with SEND across the 5-19 age range, using expertise in communication, interaction, cognition and learning to promote inclusive practice.

Formación

• NVQ 3 level qualification or equivalent in a related field and willingness to undertake further qualifications.
• Significant experience with children and families in educational settings.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and SEND code of practice.
• Ability to engage colleagues and stakeholders in collaborative processes.

Responsabilidades

• Support learning, communication and autistic strengths across the 5–19 age range.
• Work with schools to develop inclusive practice and monitor provision.
• Provide coaching, modelling of good practice and access to resources.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to service development.
