Job summary

Delphi Care Solutions Nottingham, England, GB is seeking a Specialist Support Worker to assist adults with autism and learning disabilities in a residential setting. The role involves delivering person-centred care, supporting daily living activities, and following care plans.

This full-time position offers 42 hours per week across 12-hour day and night shifts, with weekends and bank holidays included. Sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months' experience working within adult social care in the UK.
• Experience supporting individuals with autism, learning disabilities, mental health needs, and behaviours of concern.
• Full UK driving licence and NVQ/RQF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality support to adults with autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs.
• Promote independence, dignity, choice and wellbeing.
• Support daily living activities and personal development.
• Follow care plans, risk assessments and behaviour support strategies.
• Assist service users to access activities and engage with the local community.
• Collaborate with colleagues and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Report changes in needs, behaviours or wellbeing.
• Safeguard vulnerable adults and follow policies and procedures.
• Participate in training, supervision and team meetings.
