Job summary

Daisy Chain is seeking a Neurodivergent Informed Lead to support autistic young people and adults in Tees Valley. The role involves delivering psychoeducation, 1:1 and small group sessions under supervision, with a focus on accessibility and person-centred care.

You will signpost local services, build trusted relationships with participants and stakeholders, maintain confidentiality and GDPR compliance, and help continuously improve the service in a dynamic charity setting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with autistic and neurodivergent individuals and families.
• Experience safeguarding with a good understanding of safeguarding policies.
• Level 3 qualification in a relevant field (e.g. autism, education, health & social care).

Responsibilities

• Deliver a bespoke package of psychoeducation, 1:1 and group support to autistic young people and adults.
• Maintain and develop knowledge of local service provision across Tees Valley for signposting and referrals.
• Engage with hard-to-reach adults to access the support they need.
• Support the Service Manager to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to deliver the programme.
• Build trust-based relationships with autistic individuals to identify key issues.
• Ensure confidentiality and GDPR compliance at all times.
• Record and report in line with Daisy Chain procedures.
• Undertake administrative tasks for efficient delivery of responsibilities.
• Attend staff meetings and contribute to ongoing training and development.
