Oakfield House School is seeking a caring Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team. You will support pupils with autism and additional needs, helping them access a personalised curriculum inside a nurturing environment.

Working with experienced teachers, you will deliver 1:1 and small group support, monitor progress, and help build confidence, independence and positive relationships across the school community.

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above.

Responsabilidades

• Support teachers in delivering a broad, engaging curriculum.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to help students access learning.
• Assist with educational and behavioural programmes to meet learning needs.
• Encourage confidence, independence and positive relationships.
• Monitor and record progress and share feedback with the team.
• Prepare learning resources and materials for lessons.
• Promote positive behaviour and a safe, nurturing environment.
• Accompany students on educational visits and enrichment activities.
