Job summary

ESPA is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for North Rye College to support individual students and small groups across Entry Level to Level 3, in class and when working outdoors, helping learners reach their potential.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, reliable and have strong communication skills, with a good level of general education, safeguarding awareness and a positive interest in working with young autistic people.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and reliability are essential.
• Safeguarding responsibilities must be understood and followed.
• Positive interest in working with young autistic people.
• Ability to work calmly and respectfully with students.
• Caring and dedicated approach; willingness to work in community settings and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Support individual students in classes from Entry Level to Level 3.
• Work with small groups providing targeted assistance.
