Job summary
Autism Together in Bromborough, Wirral, is seeking Complex Care Support Workers to assist individuals with autism and learning disabilities in their own homes and residential settings. You will provide daily living support, personal care, and community engagement, using PBS and person-centred plans to promote wellbeing and independence.
The role offers professional development, fully paid induction, and opportunities to gain qualified credentials through apprenticeships.
Qualifications
- Must hold a UK manual driving licence and have access to a car.
- Excellent communication skills and strong understanding of person-centred approaches.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.
- Desirable Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.
Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with complex autism and learning disabilities.
- Following Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies and individual support plans.
- Supporting with daily living skills, personal development, social integration, and managing personal finances.
- Administering medication safely and maintaining accurate records.
- Working collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and multidisciplinary teams.
