Leaders in Care Ltd are supporting a private neurodevelopmental clinic in the West Midlands to recruit an Autism Assessment Clinician (Children & Young People). The role combines face-to-face assessments with remote work in a hybrid pattern and offers a salary of up to £60,000 per year, depending on experience.

Formación

• Experience delivering autism assessments for children and young people.
• Ability to write clear autism assessment reports and communicate outcomes.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver CYP autism assessments in line with NICE guidance and service standards.
• Gather information from families, education settings and clinical records.
• Complete developmental histories and assess functional impact.
• Coordinate assessment activity and support families through the process.
• Contribute to MDT discussions and diagnostic decision-making.
• Identify co-occurring needs, risks and safeguarding concerns and escalate when needed.
• Produce high-quality autism assessment reports within agreed timescales.
• Provide sensitive feedback to families and communicate outcomes.
