Qualifications

• At least 12 months' experience carrying out ADHD assessments for children and young people.
• Experience gathering information from parents, carers, schools and clinical records.
• Ability to present cases at MDT meetings and provide feedback and recommendations to families.
• Produce high-quality clinical reports and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Carry out structured ADHD assessments for children and young people.
• Gather information from parents, carers, schools and clinical records.
• Complete developmental histories and assess functional impact.
• Present cases at multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings.
• Provide clear feedback and recommendations to families.
• Produce high-quality clinical reports and maintain accurate records.
• Identify safeguarding concerns where appropriate.
• Take part in clinical supervision, service improvement and professional development.
