Job summary

RSM UK is recruiting for a graduate who will work on external audit, gaining exposure to a wide range of clients and building a strong foundation in financial controls and reporting.

You’ll start studying towards the Chartered Accountant qualification from day one, with exams within the first months. The role involves office-based work and client-site exposure, developing technical and interpersonal skills in a fast-growing firm.

Qualifications

• UCAS points: 112 across three A levels (or 104 across four Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers) or Irish Leaving Certificate (higher level).
• Honours degree, obtained or predicted.
• Right to live and work in the UK for this role.
• Effective written and verbal communication to convey complex information clearly.
• Ability to analyse and interpret data to solve problems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills enabling relationship-building and staying calm under pressure.
• Genuine interest in business and commerce with strong organisational and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and other offices as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk-focused reviews of clients’ financial records, processes and controls.
• Ensure the accuracy of financial statements and build stakeholder trust.
• Study towards Chartered Accountant qualification from day one and take first exams soon after joining.
• Collaborate with audit colleagues and take on increasing responsibility for projects.
• Occasionally travel to client sites and other offices as needed.
