Job summary

Cooper Parry in London is seeking an Audit Trainee to join a close-knit team delivering statutory audits for a varied client base. You will gain hands-on experience from day one and work towards the ACA qualification with strong team support.

The programme starts in September 2027, with assessment centres on 2 December and 17 March. Graduates need a degree and 3 A Levels (BBC, including a numerical or business subject); school leavers follow the same requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate or school-leaver routes; graduates need a completed degree and 3 A Levels (BBC, with a numerical or business subject).
• School leavers must meet the same A Level requirements.
• Commitment to ACA/UK Qualified route with support from the team.

Responsibilities

• Review client information and financial records (invoices, statements).
• Assist in preparing financial statements using audit software.
• Attend client year-end stocktakes (weekends/around Christmas).
• Communicate with client finance teams to understand systems and processes.
• Work in small teams to perform testing and contribute to audit reports.
• Meet deadlines and support delivering high-quality work.
