Audit Supervisor

Top 20 Accountancy Firm | Up to £60,000 DOE | London (Hybrid)

Are you an experienced Audit Senior ready to take the next step, or an established Audit Supervisor or Assistant Manager seeking a new challenge within a dynamic and rapidly growing firm?

This opportunity is with a nationally recognised, Top 20 UK accountancy firm that has seen exceptional growth in recent years. With over 40 offices and a team of more than 1,000 professionals, the firm is committed to delivering outstanding service to small and medium-sized businesses across the UK. They combine the scale and resources of a larger practice with the close-knit, supportive culture of a local team.

The Audit Supervisor Role:

You’ll be joining the London office as an Audit Supervisor depending on experience. Working closely with Managers and Partners, you’ll play a key role in the delivery of high-quality audit services across a varied and interesting client base.

Audit Supervisor Responsibilities include:

• Leading audit engagements from planning through to completion

• Supervising and reviewing the work of on-site and remote audit teams

• Acting as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the audit process

• Coaching and mentoring junior staff

• Contributing to budgeting, risk assessment and audit strategy

• Identifying opportunities to add value and improve processes

• Working collaboratively with senior colleagues to ensure effective service delivery

About You:

• Strong background in external audit within a UK accountancy practice

• Experience leading audits and supporting junior team members

• Well-organised and able to manage multiple priorities

• Strong interpersonal and client-handling skills

• Commercially aware with a solutions-focused mindset

• Familiarity with Caseware, CCH, Xero, QuickBooks or similar systems is a plus

• Knowledge of HAT methodology is beneficial but not essential
