Job summary

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification, or approaching qualification.
• Experience in an accountancy practice audit environment.
• Strong understanding of UK audit and accounting principles.
• Ability to manage audit assignments and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience mentoring or supervising junior staff is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan, carry out and complete audit assignments for a range of clients.
• Review financial statements to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
• Identify and address issues or discrepancies during audits.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members during audit processes.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide updates.
• Identify key audit findings and discuss recommendations with management.
• Work closely with Managers to ensure a high-quality service delivery.
• Stay updated with changes in audit regulations and best practices.
