Butler Rose Public Practice in Hitchin is seeking an Audit Senior to join their team. You will take ownership of audits from planning to completion, build trusted client relationships and progress towards ACA or ACCA.

This role offers exposure to the full audit lifecycle, with opportunities to develop technical knowledge, leadership skills and support junior colleagues in a collaborative, professional environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years audit experience in practice.
• Currently working towards ACA/ACCA or newly qualified.
• Knowledge of Caseware is highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of audit assignments from planning to completion.
• Prepare audit files, working papers and completion documentation.
• Review financial statements and assist with statutory accounts where required.
• Identify audit issues and escalate to the Audit Manager.
• Act as a key client contact and manage information requests.
