Job summary

Butler Rose in Crewe, Cheshire is recruiting an Audit & Accounts Manager to join a growing independent practice. The role combines leadership with hands-on delivery of audits for larger and more complex clients.

You'll work with the Audit Director, mentoring senior staff, planning audits, and driving delivery to high professional standards, while nurturing client relationships and supporting the wider practice development.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification (or be qualified by experience with significant external audit experience).
• Strong organisational, communication and client relationship skills.
• Proactive approach and ambition to grow the audit department.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit assignments for a varied portfolio of clients, including larger and more complex audits.
• Plan, supervise and review audits to high professional standards.
• Act as day-to-day leader of the audit team, providing guidance and technical expertise.
• Mentor, coach and develop Audit Seniors, Semi Seniors and Trainees.
