Job summary

Supremesearchspecialists in Wigan is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to lead audits from planning to completion, collaborating closely with clients and internal teams. This role offers the opportunity to drive high-quality audit work and support junior staff development.

The candidate should be ACA/ACCA qualified with solid UK audit experience, and be comfortable managing multiple engagements in a hybrid working environment. Salary is £38,000–£48,000 dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or equivalent experience.
• Solid experience in audit within an accountancy practice.
• Strong understanding of UK auditing standards and accounting frameworks.
• Experience managing client relationships and delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and develop others.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Manage on-site audit work and allocate resources effectively.
• Ensure audits comply with regulatory standards and internal procedures.
• Review work of junior staff and provide feedback.
• Prepare audit findings and highlight risks and improvements.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients.
• Collaborate with other service lines when needed.
• Support development and mentoring of junior team members.
