Job summary

The Ashford-based Top 10 accountancy practice is seeking an Audit Senior to lead audit fieldwork for diverse clients, from owner-managed businesses to large corporates and international groups. You’ll own audits from planning through to completion, collaborating with managers and partners and mentoring junior staff.

You’ll also gain exposure to accounts, advisory projects, and business development activities, developing broader commercial experience in a firm with a strong culture and hybrid

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification required or nearing qualification.
• Experience working in an accountancy practice audit role.
• Strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills.
• Enjoy building client relationships and working collaboratively.
• Keen to progress career within a leading firm.

Responsibilities

• Leading audit fieldwork and completing assignments to a high standard.
• Planning and delivering audits for a varied client portfolio.
• Supervising and mentoring trainees and junior staff.
• Building strong relationships with clients and acting as a trusted point of contact.
• Working closely with managers and partners on complex assignments.
• Involvement in advisory projects and broader commercial experience.
