Job summary

Austin Rose is seeking an Audit Senior for a Top 20 firm in Southampton. You will lead statutory audit engagements, coach junior staff, and ensure timely delivery across a diverse client portfolio.

The role offers hybrid working, study support towards ACA/ACCA, and structured progression with regular reviews. You will work with high-value corporate clients and gain exposure to UK GAAP and IFRS reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience leading statutory audit engagements.
• Mentoring and coaching junior team members.
• Strong communication with clients and colleagues to ensure timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead statutory audit engagements from planning to completion.
• Manage on-site/off-site audit fieldwork within budget and timelines.
• Review financial statements prepared under UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Build strong working relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff and review their work.
