Job summary

A global accountancy firm is seeking an experienced Audit Senior for a 6-month contract in Guernsey, Channel Islands. The successful candidate will supervise financial reporting, manage client engagements, and mentor junior staff. Applicants should be fully qualified (ACCA/ACA/CPA) with at least 3 years of external audit experience. Opportunities for further international roles are also available.

The Company

Reach International is working with this Global Accountancy firm to appoint Audit Seniors, on a 6 month contract starting January 2017, to their Guernsey, Channel Islands office.

The Role

• Supervise financial reporting and Statutory filing and compliance assurance engagements of clients
• Supervise multiple concurrent engagements with professional staff and direct the preparation and completion of reports, accounts and financial statements
• Advise a client portfolio within the Financial Services sector, predominantly focusing within Funds/Asset Management/Private Equity clients
• Ensure assignments are run within budget, time and resource requirements
• Mentor assistants by counselling and assisting them in the management of all aspects of their work lives and in obtaining their career objectives

The Candidate

• Must be fully qualified (ACCA/ACA/CPA or equivalent) or about to become qualified
• At least 3 years External Audit experience from a global accountancy firm
• Financial services experience not essential
