Job summary

A global accountancy firm is seeking experienced Audit Seniors for their Guernsey and Jersey offices. The ideal candidate will supervise financial reporting and compliance assurance engagements, manage a client portfolio in the Financial Services sector, and mentor junior staff. Candidates must be fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent and an EU national or have the right to work unsponsored in the Channel Islands. This position offers a permanent contract with an excellent package.

Qualifications

• Advise on financial services sector focusing on Insurance and Asset Management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise multiple concurrent engagements with professional staff.
• Ensure assignments are completed within budget and time constraints.
• Mentor assistants in their work and career objectives.
• Ensure assignments are run within budget, time and resource requirements
• Mentor assistants by counselling and assisting them in the management of all aspects of their work lives and in obtaining their career objectives

The Company

Reach International is working with this Global Accountancy firm to appoint Audit Seniors to its Guernsey and Jersey offices.

The Role

• Supervise financial reporting and statutory filing and compliance assurance engagements of clients
• Supervise multiple concurrent engagements with professional staff and direct the preparation and completion of reports, accounts and financial statements
• Advise a client portfolio within the Financial Services sector, predominantly focusing within Insurance, Funds/Asset Management, Private Equity and Banking clients
• Ensure assignments are run within budget, time and resource requirements
• Mentor assistants by counselling and assisting them in the management of all aspects of their work lives and in obtaining their career objectives

The Candidate

• Fully qualified ACA / ACCA/CPA or equivalent
• Due to immigration restrictions, must be an EU national or have the right to work unsponsored in the Channel Islands
