£40,000 – £50,000 + benefits | Permanent | Full-time | Hybrid

Towcester, West Northamptonshire

An established and progressive accountancy practice is looking for an experienced Audit Senior to join its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified accountant looking to take the next step in their career, with responsibility for a varied portfolio of clients and the opportunity to develop towards a management-level position.

The Role

• Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion
• Prepare and review audit working papers and financial statements
• Identify key risks and provide practical recommendations to clients
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Review the work of junior team members and provide guidance
• Support the preparation of year-end accounts and tax computations where required
• Ensure assignments are delivered accurately, efficiently and within deadlines
• Contribute to the continued development of the firm's audit and advisory services

About You

• ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified, or equivalent
• Previous experience in an audit role within an accountancy practice
• Strong knowledge of audit procedures and accounting standards
• Experience managing audit assignments and client relationships
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members
