Responsibilities

As an Audit Senior you will:

• Lead statutory audit assignments from planning through to completion, working with a varied portfolio of clients across Teesside and the wider North East.
• Manage audit fieldwork, ensuring assignments are completed efficiently, within budget, and to a high technical standard.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the audit process, building strong professional relationships.
• Prepare and review audit working papers and financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and relevant auditing standards.
• Supervise, mentor, and support junior audit colleagues, providing guidance and reviewing their work.
• Utilise modern audit software, including CaseWare and MyWorkPapers, to improve efficiency and audit quality.
