Abacus Consulting is partnering with a well-established Accountancy Practice in St Albans seeking an Audit Senior to join their growing team.

The role can be based in St Albans or central London, offering a £55,000-£60,000 salary, hybrid working options including work from home and flexible hours, and ongoing professional development. ACA qualified candidates with audit experience are preferred.

• ACA Qualified with proven experience planning and completing audits
• Experience handling a diverse client portfolio and delivering high-quality audit files

Audit Senior - well established and growing Accountancy Practice - St Albans - £55,000-£60,000

Abacus Consulting are delighted to be partnering a successful Accountancy Practice in their search for an Audit Senior. The role can be based in either St Albans (city centre) or London office (central)

As the Audit Senior, your duties will include:

• Timely completion of audit files from audit planning through to completion
• Preparation of financial statements under various accounting standards
• Supervising the audit process on site, supporting and developing junior members of staff
• Monitor and manage the progress of the audit assignment against the original budget

The ideal candidate will be ACA Qualified and have proven experience of planning and completion of audits (owner managed businesses) Must have experience working with a diverse client portfolio and must have sound knowledge of CCH Audit Automation/CCH Accounts Production.
