Job summary

DJH, in partnership with Thorne Widgery, is seeking an Audit Senior in Hereford. You will work with managers and directors to deliver audits across a vibrant client base, leading onsite audit teams and mentoring trainees.

The role offers a path to professional growth within a forward-thinking practice, with opportunities to develop leadership skills and build strong client relationships in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified with external audit experience.
• Experience in external audits across owner-managed and diverse client base.
• Tech-savvy with familiarity of CCH or equivalent audit software.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute audits for a diverse client base.
• Lead the onsite audit team to deliver high-quality audits.
• Cultivate long-lasting client relationships while on site.
• Coach and develop trainees and junior staff.
• Deliver audits efficiently while ensuring compliance and quality.

As an Audit Senior, you’ll be fully immersed with our experienced audit team, working with managers and directors to deliver audits across our vibrant and diverse client base.

It’s a great opportunity to develop and progress within a forward-thinking and fast-paced firm. You’ll:

• Get fully involved in the process, planning and executing audits for our fantastic clients.
• Lead the onsite audit team to deliver high quality and slick audits.
• Cultivate long-lasting relationships becoming the go-to for clients whilst you’re out on site.
• Wow clients daily, getting to know their business to deliver great experience.
• Coach, lead and develop a team of trainees and semi-seniors.
