Job summary

DJH in Bootle is seeking an Audit Manager to lead audits across a diverse client base, working with directors to plan and deliver end-to-end engagements.

The role offers a lively, collaborative environment with hybrid working, ongoing training, and opportunities to coach trainees and seniors while building lasting client relationships.

ACA/ACCA qualification and strong leadership are expected; experience across owner-managed businesses is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Be ACA/ACCA qualified and have experience as an Audit Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Have worked on a range of audits, including owner-managed businesses.
• Be tech-savvy, with knowledge of CCH desirable.
• Be a superb leader who energises those around you.
• Thrive in a collaborative and progressive environment.
• Love getting to know people and be a fantastic communicator.

Responsibilities

• Get fully involved with audits, planning and managing the process from end to end.
• Work alongside directors to spot opportunities and provide great advice.
• Cultivate long-lasting relationships becoming the go-to for clients.
• Wow clients daily, getting to under the skin of their business.
• Coaching and developing a team of trainees and seniors.
