Overview:
We are working with a well-established and growing Top 40 accountancy firm with offices across Central and Southern England. They are seeking an Audit Senior to join their Farnham office. This is a newly created role due to continued business growth and offers excellent progression potential and a supportive working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and deliver audit assignments across a broad portfolio of clients in various sectors.
Prepare audit files, undertake planning, and lead or support fieldwork
Supervise and support junior audit staff, reviewing their work and providing feedback
Prepare statutory accounts and corporate tax computations
Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of accounting and audit standards
Build strong relationships with clients and team members
Contribute to fee quotes and service pricing for prospective new clients
Support a culture of high performance, knowledge sharing and collaboration
Candidate Requirements:
ACA or ACCA qualified (or nearly qualified)
Minimum of 3 years’ UK accountancy practice experience in audit
Strong experience in accounts preparation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Excel and able to learn new software quickly
Working knowledge of CCH, Xero, Sage, and Caseware (advantageous)
Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to manage deadlines and priorities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team
