Job summary

Pro-Recruitment is seeking an ambitious Audit Senior to join the growing Audit & Assurance team in Cardiff. You will lead external audits from planning to completion and coach junior staff, with UK GAAP and IFRS knowledge.

This role offers hybrid working, a competitive £38,000-£45,000 salary, private medical cover, pension contributions and strong progression opportunities within a Top 30 firm serving diverse corporate and international clients.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA Qualified or Finalist.
• Experience leading external audits from planning to completion.
• Strong understanding of UK GAAP, IFRS, and ISA requirements.
• Experience with Caseware is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Leading external audit assignments from planning to completion.
• Reviewing work prepared by junior staff and providing coaching and support.
• Preparing financial statements under UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Identifying audit risks and ensuring ISA compliance.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Working collaboratively with wider audit and advisory teams.
• Delivering assignments on time and within budget.

We are currently looking for an ambitious Audit Senior to join a growing and high-performing Audit & Assurance team based in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and people-focused Top 30 accountancy and advisory firm working with a diverse portfolio of corporate and international clients.

Your role as an Audit Senior:

• Leading external audit assignments from planning to completion.
• Reviewing work prepared by junior staff and providing coaching/support.

• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Strong understanding of UK GAAP, IFRS, and ISA requirements.
