Responsibilities

As an Audit Senior, you'll work across a broad portfolio of owner-managed businesses, delivering high-quality audit and accountancy services. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Planning and leading audit assignments, identifying key risk areas and ensuring compliance
• Preparing statutory financial statements and supporting documentation
• Preparing corporation tax computations for internal review
• Building strong client relationships and gaining insight into their operations
• Supervising and mentoring junior team members on audit assignments
• Reviewing work to ensure audit objectives and quality standards are achieved
• Contributing to internal training and team development
• Ensuring audits comply with internal policies and external regulatory standards

Requirements

• ACA or ACCA qualified or actively studying towards qualification
• At least 2 years of experience in audit and accounts within a practice setting
• Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting and auditing standards
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
• Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
• Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently and as part of a team
