Audit Semi-Senior/Senior Position

Due to continued growth, my client is seeking an Audit Semi-Senior/Senior to join their dynamic and forward-thinking team. They are one of the few remaining independent chartered accountancy practices of a certain size in the Leeds area.

The ideal candidate will have 18+ months of previous audit experience in an accountancy practice. The firm offers a full range of accounting, audit, and tax services to a variety of clients mainly in the Yorkshire area, ranging from small businesses to an AIM listed company and other local businesses.

Audit Semi-Senior/Senior Position Overview

• Attend 'on-site' audit fieldwork, meeting clients at their premises
• Liaise with clients' senior management team and lead the audit team onsite
• Report to an Audit Manager or directly to a Partner
• Take responsibility for completing audit files
• Draft audited financial statements for clients

Position Requirements

• Qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA
• 18+ months audit experience in an accountancy practice

• Experience with ProAudit, IRIS, and SAGE is preferable
