Due to continued growth, our client, a leading independent chartered accountancy practice in Leeds, is seeking an Audit Semi-Senior/Senior to join their dynamic and forward-thinking team.

This well-established firm provides a full suite of accounting, audit, and tax services to a diverse client base, ranging from small businesses to AIM-listed companies, primarily across Yorkshire. Committed to delivering exceptional service, they take pride in building long-term client relationships.

Audit Semi-Senior/Senior Job Overview

1. Attend 'on-site' audit fieldwork, meeting clients at their premises
2. Liaise with clients' senior management team and lead the audit team onsite
3. Report to one of our Audit Managers or directly to a Partner
4. Take responsibility for the completion of audit files
5. Draft audited financial statements for a range of clients

Audit Semi-Senior/Senior Job Requirements

• Qualified/part-qualified ACA/ACCA
• Audit experience in an accountancy practice
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a growing team, dealing with clients and other team members
• Experience with ProAudit, IRIS, and SAGE would be preferable

Salary & Benefits

• Circa £25,000-£35,000 (Top of the bracket is for an Audit Senior but negotiable depending on experience)
• Working hours: 38 hours a week
• Holiday Package: 25 days + 8 Bank Holidays
