eps.recruitment is recruiting an Audit Semi-Senior in Hemel Hempstead for a friendly, well-established accountancy practice. You will join a supportive audit team, involved from planning to completion, on client sites and in the office, with study support to progress your qualification.

Ideal candidates will have UK audit experience, be studying towards ACA/ACCA (or ready to start), and be comfortable with Xero, QuickBooks or Sage. A strong team player with solid accounting grounding will excel.

Qualifications

• Audit experience gained within a UK accountancy practice.
• Studying towards ACA or ACCA (or ready to start) with full study support.
• Solid grounding in accounting principles and a methodical approach.
• Confident with cloud accounting software: Xero, QuickBooks or Sage.

Responsibilities

• Assist on audit assignments from planning through to completion, at client premises and in the office.
• Carry out testing and prepare working papers to a good technical standard.
• Support seniors and managers on larger, more complex audits.
• Involve yourself in year-end accounts preparation alongside audit work.
• Build good working relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Manage your own time to meet deadlines and budgets.
