Job summary

eps.group services is seeking an Audit Semi-Senior in Hemel Hempstead to join a friendly, well-established accountancy practice. You will assist on audit assignments from planning through to completion, on client premises and in the office, with strong study support to progress ACA/ACCA.

You will gain exposure across a varied client base, develop technical skills, and work with a supportive team that values development and meeting deadlines and budgets.

Qualifications

• Audit experience within a UK accountancy practice.
• Studying towards ACA or ACCA with full study support.
• Solid grounding in accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist on audit assignments from planning to completion, on client premises and in the office.
• Carry out testing and prepare working papers to a high technical standard.
• Support seniors and managers on larger, more complex audits.
• Get involved in year-end accounts preparation alongside audits.
• Build good working relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Manage your own time to meet deadlines and budgets.

• Managing your own time to stay on top of deadlines and budgets

What you'll bring

• Some audit experience gained within a UK accountancy practice
• Studying towards ACA or ACCA (or ready to start) — full study support is provided
• A solid grounding in accounting principles and a methodical approach
• Confident on cloud accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks or Sage)
• Good attention to detail and a willingness to learn
• Well-organised, reliable and a strong team player
