Job summary

BDO UK is seeking a Programme Manager to oversee large audit projects within our UK Audit team. You will drive engagement with stakeholders, manage complex multi-audit programs, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

The role requires strong PM expertise in professional services, with a preference for audit. You will coach teams, manage projects within our PM framework, and contribute to governance and KPI reporting while navigating the regulatory landscape.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in programme management with solid project methodologies.
Professional services experience with a preference for Audit.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Workday or Power BI is advantageous.
Ability to coach others in project/programme management and operate within our PM framework.
Knowledge of the regulatory environment of audits and working methods.

Responsibilities

Oversee and project manage designated key audits.
Coordinate projects and liaise with team members to engage relevant parties.
Manage inboxes and calendars to drive organization and structure.
Establish and monitor engagement strategies, milestones, deliverables, and reports.
Monitor progress, identify risks, resolve issues, and initiate corrective action.
Provide regular progress/status reports to internal and external stakeholders.
