Job summary

ProTalent Limited in Brighton is seeking an Audit Supervisor/Manager to lead a mixed portfolio across corporate audit, not-for-profit work, accounts preparation and tax. The role offers variety and progression with a defined roadmap toward Responsible Individual.

You will supervise two juniors, provide hands-on technical support, work with the RI and Audit Senior Manager, and enjoy hybrid working with occasional travel to London.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified with solid audit experience
• Strong technical ability across audit and accounts
• Experience supervising junior staff or ready to take that on
• Comfortable working across different client types and sectors

Responsibilities

• Manage a mixed audit portfolio across client types
• Audit planning and management from start to finish
• Prepare statutory accounts under FRS 102
• Involve in not-for-profit audit work including Charity SORP reporting
• Accounts preparation and tax work alongside audit
• Supervise and review work by two junior team members
• Provide hands-on technical support across the audit team
• Collaborate with RI and Audit Senior Manager on growth of the practice
• Occasional travel to London
