Job summary

Brighton-based firm in a national accountancy group is seeking an Audit Supervisor/Manager to run a varied portfolio across corporate audit, not-for-profit work, accounts preparation and tax.

You will manage two juniors, plan audits from start to finish, review work, and contribute to business growth. Hybrid working is offered with local Brighton autonomy and the backing of a larger group.

Qualifications

• Strong technical ability across audit and accounts
• Experience supervising junior staff or readiness to take on
• Comfortable working across different client types and sectors

Responsibilities

• Manage own portfolio and two juniors
• Audit planning and management from start to completion
• Prepare statutory accounts under FRS 102
• Not-for-profit audit work and Charity SORP reporting
• Accounts preparation and tax work alongside audit
• Review work of junior team members and provide hands-on technical support
• Support growth of the practice in partnership with leadership
