Insite Public Practice Recruitment Limited is assisting a national accountancy practice in appointing an Audit Partner to take over an established portfolio in Central Hertfordshire. The role offers a hybrid working pattern with a £160,000–£220,000 salary, plus profit share and partnership, and an established £1m+ client portfolio from day one.

You will lead audits for charities, education providers and owner-managed businesses, with a credibility-lending presence with trustees and boards, and

Qualifications

• Must have leadership experience in audit for charities and not-for-profit sectors.
• Experience as Audit Partner or RI Director seeking equity in near term.
• Strong business development capability and commercial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of an established £1m+ audit portfolio.
• Lead Partner across charities, academies, owner-managed businesses and growing SMEs.
• Support boards, trustees and senior leadership with strategic audit-related advice.
• Grow the firm’s presence across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire through networking.
• Coach and mentor Directors and future Responsible Individuals.
• Drive audit quality while preserving collaboration in the office.
• Work with other Partners on succession planning and regional growth.
