Ambition is seeking an experienced Responsible Individual to lead the UK audit offering and help scale an AI-enabled international audit platform.

You will work with senior leadership, technology specialists and audit professionals to develop methodologies, deliver client engagements and recruit and coach the UK team.

This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on delivery across diverse clients, offering international collaboration and a pathway toward equity.

A pioneering professional services business is seeking an experienced Responsible Individual (RI) to play a key role in establishing and growing its UK audit offering while working alongside an international team at the forefront of audit innovation.

Working closely with senior leadership, technology specialists and experienced audit professionals, you will help develop audit methodologies, drive client delivery and influence the evolution of a modern, technology-first audit practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of an innovative AI-enabled audit platform.
• Provide expertise on UK audit regulations, methodology and market expectations.
• Lead and deliver external audit engagements across a diverse client portfolio.
• Support the development of audit methodologies, workflows and quality assurance processes.
• Work closely with product and technology teams to enhance audit delivery through automation and AI.
• Identify market opportunities and contribute to the firm's growth strategy.
• Help build and develop the UK audit team through recruitment, mentoring and coaching.
• Collaborate with colleagues across multiple international locations.

About You

• Have significant experience gained within a Big 4, Top 10 or leading independent audit firm.
• Hold a recognised audit qualification (ACA, CA, ACCA or equivalent).
