Job description

Audit Partner – Digital Assets & Crypto

Location: London (Hybrid)

Salary: Up to £300,000 + Partner Profit Share

Firm: Top 10 Global Professional Services Firm

About the Firm Our client is a Top 10 professional services firm recognised for its forward-thinking approach to audit, advisory, and assurance. The business is investing heavily in technology-led markets, and is now seeking an Audit Partner to lead its growing Digital Assets & Crypto assurance practice.

This role will shape how the firm serves clients operating in blockchain, digital asset custody, tokenisation, and fintech innovation — from scale-ups to institutional financial platforms.

Role Overview

As an Audit Partner – Digital Assets & Crypto, you’ll lead and expand a high-growth portfolio, combining audit quality leadership with strategic business development. You’ll act as the firm’s signing Responsible Individual (RI), ensuring the delivery of exceptional audit standards and regulatory compliance across a fast-evolving and technically complex sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner Leadership: Lead the UK audit portfolio for clients in digital assets, blockchain, and fintech sectors.
  • RI Authority: Act as the Responsible Individual for statutory audits — signing audit opinions and ensuring compliance with UK auditing standards and ethical frameworks.
  • Audit Quality & Governance: Uphold the highest levels of audit quality, risk management, and technical excellence in accordance with FRC expectations.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build deep, trusted partnerships with boards, founders, and investors in digital-first financial ecosystems.
  • Commercial Growth: Drive business development — identifying, winning, and delivering new audit mandates through your network and market presence.
  • Thought Leadership: Position the firm as a leading voice on assurance in digital assets, crypto regulation, and emerging financial technologies.
  • Team Development: Mentor and develop senior managers and directors, supporting progression towards RI status and partner track.
Essential Experience & Attributes
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA / ACCA / equivalent).
  • Current RI status
  • Extensive experience within a Top 10 or Big 4 audit environment, ideally including exposure to financial services, fintech, or digital asset clients.
  • Strong understanding of crypto and digital asset ecosystems, including custody models, blockchain audit risks, and valuation challenges.
  • Deep technical knowledge of IFRS, ISA, and UK GAAP, with the ability to apply complex standards to novel digital asset scenarios.
  • Proven ability to win and grow audit mandates, with a commercial mindset and a history of delivering revenue growth.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial energy — with the credibility to influence both clients and regulators in a rapidly evolving marketplace.
Package & Progression
  • Base salary up to £300,000, depending on experience.
  • Partner profit share / equity track for top performers.
  • Comprehensive executive benefits, including healthcare, pension, and hybrid working.
  • A platform to shape a pioneering digital audit practice, with influence across the firm’s UK and global network.
Why Join?

This is a rare Partner opportunity for an ambitious and commercially astute RI to lead in one of the fastest-growing and most technically interesting markets in professional services. You’ll be empowered to set direction, drive innovation, and make a lasting impact in the evolution of digital asset audit and assurance.
