Meraki Talent is delighted to be working alongside their esteemed client, a UK Accounting firm, on the role of Audit Partner. This role will focus on the commercial audit business, covering a variety of sectors.

The Company

Our client is one of the most well-known firms within the UK Accountancy market and proudly sits within the top tier of firms, with ambitions to join the top 10 over the next 5 years. With a solid history and reputation built over the last + years, as well as successful mergers & acquisitions, they have grown to become a true market leader in accountancy.

The firm employs over [number] individuals across several UK offices, located in most major cities. They provide accounting services in traditional disciplines such as Audit, Advisory, Corporate Finance, Insolvency, and Tax.

Their client portfolio includes a wide variety of businesses, including Tech, Renewables, Travel, Retail, Sports, Property, and other professional services.

The Role

The Audit Partner will oversee the entire Audit function, managing a large portfolio of clients across various sectors. Responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of client engagement, driving revenue growth, and maximizing cross-selling opportunities.

You will lead with a diverse range of clients, provide advice to clients and senior management on audit matters, and collaborate on ideas to increase firm exposure through networking and professional engagements. You will also utilize contacts to upsell services offered by other departments within the firm.

Experience

We are open to speaking with individuals currently operating at Partner level or those at Director level with 5+ years of experience.

A background in commercial audit is desirable, but applications from specialists in other fields are also welcome.

You should have current Responsible Individual (RI) status or be willing to obtain it, along with a passion for business development and networking.
