About the team

Due to growth, we seek an Audit Partner for our Privately Owned Business team in Manchester. You will work closely with local and national partners to develop the audit team, client offerings, and contribute to our strategic growth, while providing exceptional audit services to clients.

About the role

• Lead the client service management team on audit strategy and planning.
• Serve as a technical expert, advising and leading the audit team and clients.
• Maintain control under pressure, respecting deadlines and urgency.
• Present audit opinions and reporting documents, including group reports and audit committee papers.
• Identify opportunities for new work and business growth.

What are we looking for?

• Significant experience leading external audits and managing diverse client portfolios.
• An RI experienced in overseeing multiple audit clients across sectors.
• Experience at Director level, aiming to become a Partner.
• Up-to-date technical knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102 and IFRS.
• Proven success in winning new business.
