Job summary

Xeinadin is recruiting an Audit Manager in Sittingbourne for a permanent, hybrid role. You will manage audits for a diverse client portfolio, ensuring timely, compliant deliverables and high-quality service.

The successful candidate will be ACCA/ACA qualified with experience across audits, including charity/NFP work, and will mentor junior staff while upholding regulatory standards and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Qualified practice accountant (ACCA/ACA)
• Experience with audits for charities and NFP is a bonus
• Experience mentoring junior team members
• Experience managing a portfolio of clients
• Understanding FRS102 and IFRS
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Provide an excellent level of service to a portfolio of clients which meets and exceeds their expectations.
• Manage the audit process and audit file reviews in accordance with Xeinadin’s standard procedures.
• Ensure agreed deliverables are within a set timeframe and that the job is completed within budget.
• Research and prepare proposals for new work, and take part in formal presentations to prospective clients.
• Act as a line manager for junior members of the team.
• Ensure self and team members follow all legal and statutory requirements.
• Represent Xeinadin to the client ensuring that the day to day is delivered with a focus on innovation and the future.
• Deliver the Xeinadin vision and values.
• Represent the firm internally and externally in a professional manner through appearance, conduct and attitude.

Description The Audit Manager will be responsible for managing the audit process for a portfolio of clients, providing an excellent level of service. This role requires a friendly and approachable individual with a clear perception of client requirements.

Key Requirements

• The successfully appointed individual will be a qualified practice accountant (ACCA/ACA).
• Wide range of audit experience with Charites and NFP a bonus.
• Experience in managing and mentoring junior members of a practice team, with a focus on driving results and exceeding expectations.
• Proficiency in navigating professional regulations and best practices, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and making a positive impact.
• Experience managing a portfolio of small to large clients.
• Understanding FRS102 and IFRS.
