Page Personnel is recruiting an Audit Manager for a growing independent firm in the Lancaster area. The role offers hybrid working and scope to lead complex audits, including group audits and owner-managed businesses, with direct exposure to senior leadership.

You will own engagements from planning to completion, develop junior staff, ensure UK GAAP compliance, and build strong client relationships while travelling to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification is required.
• Experience as Audit Manager or Assistant Manager in practice.
• Strong auditing technical skills, esp. owner-managed businesses.
• Proven experience leading audits and managing teams.
• Willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and completion of complex audit assignments, including group audits and OMBs.
• Take full ownership of audit engagements from planning through to completion.
• Act as the primary on-site client contact, managing queries and relationships.
• Produce high-quality, review-ready audit files to minimise Partner involvement.
• Manage team resources and capacity for efficient delivery of audits.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.
