Liverpool-based accountancy practice is seeking an ambitious Audit Manager to join its team. This ACA/ACCA-qualified role offers a varied client portfolio, greater commercial involvement and a clear pathway towards Responsible Individual status.

You will lead audits, develop client relationships and contribute to growth, while mentoring a small team and supporting business development efforts.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified, with a strong general practice background.
• Experience operating at Audit Manager level.
• Ambition to progress towards RI status.

Responsabilités

• Lead audit assignments from planning through completion.
• Manage a varied client portfolio across sectors.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of 3–4 staff.
• Develop client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services.
• Involve in pitches, tenders and business development.
• Undertake ad hoc assignments including due diligence.
• Support audit quality control and maintain professional standards.
