Job summary

Ambition is recruiting an Audit Manager for a Henley-based specialist boutique accountancy practice offering audit, accounts and tax services to a diverse client base. You will lead audit engagements, support staff development, and shape the direction of a growing audit department. Part-time applications are welcome.

You will work closely with the Audit Partner, bring technical depth to complex assignments, and help drive department growth in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification with post-qualification experience.
• Minimum of three years post-qualification experience in a practice.
• Strong practical knowledge of UK GAAP and ISAs.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit teams on group and international assignments while ensuring quality and compliance.
• Prepare consolidations under IFRS/FRS 102 as required.
• Manage own portfolio of clients and develop workload planning to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Supervise and mentor junior audit staff and support their professional development.
• Collaborate with Audit Partner on technical audit matters and complex engagements.
• Contribute to growth and improvement of the audit department.
