Job summary

CAnnection is seeking an Audit Manager to lead a Milton Keynes portfolio, owning audits from planning to completion and guiding junior staff. You will engage with owner-managed businesses and SME clients across sectors, acting as a primary liaison with Partners and senior managers.

The role requires strong external-audit experience, a recognised accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA or equivalent), and the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Strong external audit experience within an accountancy practice firm.
• Experience with managing audits from start to finish.
• Exposure to a varied portfolio of OMB and small to medium-sized clients.
• Hold the right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied portfolio of audit clients across multiple sectors.
• Taking ownership of audits from planning through to completion.
• Managing multiple audit assignments throughout the year.
• Reviewing audit work and ensuring assignments are delivered to a high standard.
• Delegating work effectively across the audit team.
• Supervising, coaching and supporting junior team members.
• Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact.
• Working closely with Partners and senior members of the team.
• Identifying issues during assignments and helping deliver practical solutions for clients.
