Wavelength Professional Recruitment Ltd is supporting a respected Milton Keynes practice to appoint an ACA or ACCA qualified Audit & Accounts Senior, offering genuine portfolio ownership and exposure to a broad client base.

You will manage your own client portfolio, lead audit engagements from planning to completion, and contribute to the preparation of statutory accounts under FRS 102, as well as management accounts and tax computations.

Audit & Accounts Senior

A respected Milton Keynes practice is seeking an ACA or ACCA qualified Audit & Accounts Senior to join a growing team. The firm is open to appointing more than one individual as part of continued expansion.

This opportunity is well suited to someone who wants genuine portfolio ownership and exposure to a broad client base, while developing toward a future management role.

The Role

You will manage your own portfolio of clients across a range of sectors, working directly with business owners and senior stakeholders. The work offers a balanced mix of audit and accounts, with audit engagements typically led from planning through to completion.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Managing and delivering audit assignments
• Preparing statutory accounts under FRS 102
• Preparing management accounts and tax computations
• Reviewing work prepared by junior staff
• Supporting clients with ad hoc advisory projects

The practice works with owner-managed businesses as well as larger groups with turnovers in excess of £200m. It offers a modern, supportive culture and clear development pathways, with promotion based on capability rather than tenure.
